Vedica Qalbani is one of Ratio’s founding partners. Before founding Ratio, Vedica spent eight years executing searches at all levels for a variety of private equity and hedge fund clients. Before that Vedica was a Director at Time Warner in the mergers and acquisitions group and was an associate at Alta Communications, a media and telecom focused private equity fund based in Boston. Vedica began her career at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette where she was an analyst in the TMT investment banking group.

Vedica received a BA in Economics from Harvard, cum laude, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She lives in New York City with her husband and three kids. At Harvard, Vedica was the captain of the varsity tennis team. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running and is a big Roger Federer fan. Vedica’s favorite book is All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.
